I’m proud to announce that, after years of development, this story I have been wanting to get out of my head will be Story & Media’s first graphic novel! Artist Josh Johnson is hard at work illustrating my script (you’ve no doubt noticed his fine pre-production work on this page) while Jordan Brown’s Olivit Design, LLC is scripting the magic code that will bring this story to you in a way that you may not expect. What’s it about? Well here’s the 100 word pitch: Veteran Chicago PD detective and FBI trained criminal profiler, REGINALD GONE’s last case—the now infamous “Dashing Man” case–brought him prestige, fame, and almost killed him. Left wheelchair bound and spiritually bankrupt, he must now team up with the newest rising star on the Violent Crimes unit, LOUIS CORTEZ, and embark on a dangerous manhunt for a vigilante killer who believes that he is saving his victims’s souls, and eventually comes to believe that he must also save Gone’s soul. The trouble is that every soul he saves ends up dead.
